Today's announcement puts paid to the speculation surrounding the future of MeeGo after Stephen Elop, CEO of Nokia, announced that N950 would be the first, and last, MeeGo phone, come what may.
It seems that Intel, Nokia's partner in MeeGo, who were left holding the baby, have jumped into bed with Samsung to develope MeeGo as "Tizen". Possibly to replace their ill fated Bada platform.
